Turn on Shopify Payments so card transactions can settle to your business account.
Open Payments settings ↗Legal business name, address, company number (if Ltd), and director ID for KYC.
Complete business profile ↗6-digit UK sort code for your business bank account.
8-digit UK account number. Stored locally only — actual entry happens in Shopify admin.
Must match the business name registered with Shopify Payments.
If VAT-registered, add your VAT number under Settings → Taxes and duties.
Open tax settings ↗Define a UK shipping zone with rates so checkout doesn't block customers.
Open shipping settings ↗Run a real card transaction (or Bogus Gateway in test mode) end-to-end and confirm payout schedule.
View orders ↗Once payments are live, disable the store password so customers can check out.
